The Future Travel Coalition (FTC) is currently gathering insights from its member companies via a new industry survey. As politicians are increasingly open to data-driven approaches and proposals from the travel sector, the FTC conducts biannual surveys to collect fresh perspectives from businesses involved in travel and tourism.
This current survey aims to assess the forecast for bookings, identify any hiring difficulties, and check the status of debts incurred during the pandemic. Fourteen associations are members of the FTC, and any travel business affiliated with these associations is eligible to participate in the survey.
Completing the survey requires only 10 minutes, and the deadline to submit responses is May 10. The results will be utilized by the coalition’s partners to enhance their interactions with government officials and politicians across all parties, especially leading up to the General Election.
Luke Petherbridge, Director of Public Affairs at ABTA – The Travel Association said: “We’re delighted that the partners in the Future Travel Coalition continue to work together to advocate on behalf of the industry. Our bi-annual surveys play an incredibly important role in ensuring we have the evidence and data required to engage with officials and ministers.
“I would urge everyone to support the survey and to provide feedback on booking trends, as well as the latest conditions for recruitment and staffing.”
