Gamer Connects 444 Consoles to One TV, Sets Guinness World Record

Ibrahim Al-Nasser, a passionate gamer, has achieved a remarkable feat – connecting 444 gaming consoles to a single TV, earning himself a Guinness World Record. His incredible setup is a testament to his dedication and organizational skills. The sheer number of consoles, spanning generations of gaming history, is truly impressive, and their connection to a single TV is a technical marvel.

Al-Nasser’s journey to this record-breaking achievement began with his desire to play all of his beloved gaming consoles. Facing the limitations of TV ports, he realized the need for creative solutions. “I noticed that I had a big stack of gaming consoles that I couldn’t play. The TV ports are limited, so I either had to unplug existing consoles or add more switchers and converters. I used all the tools available in the market in order to organize the cables,” he explained.

The sheer scale of the project led him to consider connecting all his consoles to one TV. “By adding more switchers, the idea came to my mind to connect all of the gaming consoles I have to the TV then contact Guinness World Records because this project is unique. It includes hundreds of video game consoles, all different to each other. All of the consoles require a special set up and cable management as well,” Al-Nasser added.

His collection boasts an incredible array of consoles, encompassing gaming history from the very beginning. It includes the Magnavox Odyssey, the first-ever gaming console released in 1972, all the way to the latest PlayStation 5 Slim, released in late 2023. This collection features iconic consoles like the Xbox 360, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Wii U, Sega Genesis, and even super-rare consoles like the Super A’Can.

Al-Nasser’s dedication to his hobby is clear, and his love for gaming shines through. He expressed his admiration for the Sega Genesis, stating: “For me, the best gaming console of all time, number one always, forever, Sega Genesis.” Many gamers share his fondness for the Sega Genesis, fondly remembering hours spent playing classic titles like Sonic the Hedgehog and Streets of Rage.

Al-Nasser’s Guinness World Record is a testament to the power of passion and dedication. His remarkable achievement serves as inspiration to gamers around the world, showcasing the possibilities when we combine technical skills with a love for the gaming world.
