Get ready for the return of ‘Slow Horses’ on Apple TV+! Season 4 of the BAFTA-winning espionage series is set to premiere globally on Wednesday, September 4th, with the first two episodes dropping simultaneously. Following the premiere, viewers can anticipate a new episode every Wednesday until October 2nd.
‘Slow Horses’ stars the brilliant Gary Oldman as Jackson Lamb, the cynical yet intelligent leader of Slough House, a unique purgatory within MI5. Despite their often mundane lives, the agents at Slough House find themselves dealing with high-stakes issues that could profoundly impact the future of Britain.
Joining Oldman in season 4 are returning cast members Jack Lowden as River Cartwright, Kristin Scott Thomas as Diana Taverner, Saskia Reeves as Catherine Standish, Rosalind Eleazar as Louisa Guy, Christopher Chung as Roddy Ho, Aimee-Ffion Edwards as Shirley Dander, Kadiff Kirwan as Marcus Longridge, and Jonathan Pryce as David Cartwright.

Season 1 is based on ‘Slow Horses,’ season 2 on ‘Dead Lions,’ season 3 on ‘Real Tigers,’ and season 4 on ‘Spook Street.’ Further, Apple has already renewed ‘Slow Horses’ for a fifth season, which will be based on Heron’s fifth book, ‘Long Rules.’
‘Slow Horses’ is adapted for television by Will Smith and produced for Apple TV+ by See-Saw Films. The series has already garnered critical acclaim, winning two 2024 BAFTA Television Awards for Best Editing: Fiction and Best Sound: Fiction.
