In a bombshell revelation, former OSD Lokesh Sharma has accused ex-Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot of providing him with incriminating audio clips used to implicate Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in Sachin Pilot’s rebellion of 2020. During a press conference in Jaipur, Sharma claimed that Gehlot summoned him to his residence and instructed him to distribute the clips on social media to expose Shekhawat’s alleged role in destabilizing his government.
Sharma asserted that he will fully cooperate with the ongoing phone-tapping probe, which was initiated after Shekhawat filed a complaint alleging that Sharma had illegally recorded phone conversations of public representatives. Sharma had initially claimed to have obtained the clips from social media but has now admitted that Gehlot was their source.
