Genshin Impact’s New Action RPG Sets Pre-Registration Milestone

miHoYo’s eagerly anticipated action RPG has reached an impressive pre-registration milestone of over 30 million players across PlayStation 5, PC, and mobile platforms. The game’s official pre-registration campaign commenced earlier today, garnering an overwhelming response from enthusiastic fans. As a result of surpassing this milestone, players will be rewarded with an array of in-game items upon the game’s launch, including 30,000 Dennies (the primary currency for in-game purchases), five Boopons (used to acquire Bangboos, supporting pets in battle), and eight Master Tapes (for unlocking ).

Should the pre-registration campaign reach 35 million players, every player will be granted a complimentary Agent, the anxious maid Corin, and an additional 12 Master Tapes upon reaching 40 million. Players can participate in the pre-registration process via Google Play, the App Store, or the game’s official website. Console and PC owners can add the game to their wishlist on the PlayStation Store or the Epic Games Store (note that the game will not be available on Steam).

Currently, a select group of players are experiencing a closed beta version of the game on PS5, but the complete release may not be far off for others. While miHoYo has not made an official announcement, mentions an anticipated release date of July 3, indicating a possible release within the next three months. Other storefronts have not provided a specific release date beyond a broad 2024 window. Although a July 3 release is plausible, it remains a possibility that this information is inaccurate. We will keep you updated with any official statements from miHoYo regarding this matter.
