Gettysburg’s softball team showcased their offensive prowess in an exciting 11-8 victory over Carlisle on Wednesday. Leading the charge was Samantha Carbaugh, who blasted a home run and drove in four runs while going 1-for-3 at the plate. Emily Haines also had a stellar performance, going 3-for-3 with three doubles and three RBIs. Emily Holtzopple contributed two RBIs to the team’s total, while Aubry Forsythe and Megan Mussleman each added one RBI. Gettysburg’s offensive dominance proved too much for Carlisle to overcome, resulting in a well-deserved victory for the Warriors.
