Glen Ridge softball came away with a convincing 10-3 victory over Belleville on the road. Amelia Mikros was dominant in the circle for the Ridgers, allowing only one earned run on five hits while striking out 13 batters.
At the plate, Lily Di Cicco and Annie Doud were the catalysts for Glen Ridge’s offense. Di Cicco finished 2-for-4 with three RBIs, while Doud went 3-for-4 with an RBI. Olivia Gist and Harper Nix also contributed with multi-hit games.
The win improves Glen Ridge’s record to 5-2 on the season. They will look to continue their winning ways when they host Verona on Thursday.
