The alliance, boasting over 800 properties in 100 countries, saw a significant surge in revenue, driven by a combination of expansion and the robust performance of its GHA DISCOVERY loyalty program.

Building on the positive momentum from the first half of the year, GHA reported a 15% increase in total hotel revenue, reaching $689.0 million in Q3. This brings the year-to-date revenue to a substantial $2.0 billion. The growth was primarily driven by a 16% rise in room nights and a slight increase in average room rates.
GHA DISCOVERY Loyalty Program Drives Growth
A key driver of GHA’s success is its GHA DISCOVERY loyalty program, which has witnessed phenomenal growth, reaching 28.3 million members. This program plays a crucial role in driving international revenue, with 66.2% of member-generated revenue coming from international stays in Q3. The US, UK, Germany, Australia, and China emerged as the top feeder markets, contributing 26% of total international room revenue.

The popularity of GHA DISCOVERY’s rewards currency, DISCOVERY Dollars (D$), surged in Q3, with redemptions increasing by a remarkable 95% year-on-year. This surge in activity significantly boosted revenues across the alliance’s hotels, with total cross-brand revenues climbing 31% to $100.7 million in Q3, bringing the year-to-date total to $276.0 million.
