Golden State Boulevard Permanently Closed for High-Speed Rail Construction in Fresno

Fresno, Calif.

– A portion of Golden State Boulevard in central Fresno has been permanently closed to accommodate the construction of the high-speed rail Belmont Avenue Grade Separation Project.

The affected section of the boulevard spans from Belmont Avenue to Olive Avenue. The closure was implemented to avoid disrupting sections of Roeding Park. Motorists are now advised to utilize Highway 99 or Marks Avenue as alternative routes. It is recommended to allocate additional time for commuting due to potential delays.
