Good Samaritan’s Car Stolen by Suspected Auto Thieves After Highway 400 Crash

Ontario Provincial Police said emergency crews were called at around 5:45 a.m. to the crash near Lloydtown-Aurora Road in York Region. The Good Samaritan witnessed the collision and came to the aid of those involved. However, the suspects, a man and woman both around 20 to 30 years old, took advantage of the situation and stole the Good Samaritan’s grey Honda Fit, leaving them stranded at the scene. The stolen Honda Fit remains missing.

The crash caused significant damage to the guardrail, prompting lane closures on the highway for repairs. The OPP stated that the closures would continue until later Tuesday evening.

The suspects remain at large, and the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
