Google Pixel 8A: Leaks Reveal Potential Price and Design Details
Google’s highly anticipated Pixel 8A smartphone is set to make its debut at the annual Google I/O developer conference this year. Scheduled for May 14th, the event is expected to witness several significant announcements, and the Pixel 8A is certainly generating considerable excitement.
Recent leaks have shed light on the potential price of the device in India, suggesting it could be priced under Rs 50,000. The base model with 128GB of storage is rumored to be around Rs 42,500, while the 256GB variant could be priced at approximately Rs 47,500.
In terms of design, the Pixel 8A is expected to remain largely similar to its predecessor, the Pixel 7A. However, it might introduce a striking new green color option. Leaks also indicate a more pronounced chin at the bottom of the display and softer, more rounded corners.
Hardware-wise, the Pixel 8A is rumored to feature a 6.1-inch display with a 120Hz OLED panel, an upgrade from the 90Hz display on the Pixel 7A. It is also expected to pack a dual-camera system on the rear, consisting of a 64-megapixel primary sensor and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The device is likely to be powered by the Tensor G3 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage in the standard model. There are also speculations about a new 256GB storage option, marking a first for the A-series.
