The Google Pixel 9 Pro has been the subject of numerous leaks in recent weeks, revealing its design, specifications, and more. Now, Google has officially teased the phone a month before its official release.
The teaser video, titled “Introducing the Google Pixel 9 Pro,” begins with a demonstration of Google Gemini, hinting that the AI will be a key feature on the Pixel 9 Pro. We then see the phone’s back with the text “Oh hi AI,” followed by the Pixel 9 Pro name and a reminder of its August 13 launch.
This brief glimpse of the Google Pixel 9 Pro aligns with previous leaks. The phone appears to have rounded corners, flat edges, and a redesigned camera bar. It’s confirmed that there will be three rear cameras, a flash, and the same temperature sensor introduced on the Pixel 8 Pro last year.
Based on earlier leaks, we anticipate the Pixel 9 Pro to feature a 50-megapixel main camera, an ultrawide camera, and a telephoto camera. We also expect a Tensor G4 chipset, at least seven years of software updates, and extensive AI integration.
Along with the Pixel 9 Pro, we can expect to see the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. While it’s unclear if Google will tease these other phones, one thing is certain: we are nearing the end of the leak and teaser cycle. The Made by Google event on August 13 will unveil everything, and it will be here before we know it.
