For years, a public rift has been going between mama-bhanja Govinda and Krushna. However, Krushna expressed his happiness on seeing his uncle attending the wedding and blessing the couple. Expressing his excitement of having his uncle at the wedding, Krushna told the paparazzi at the venue, “I am very happy. Bohot khushi ka din hai aaj, Arti ke liye hum sab ke liye. Mama aaye bohot khushi hui. Vo dil ki baat hai, humara aisa emotional connect hai (It is a big day for Arti and each one of us. Mama (Govinda) came, and I am very happy. It’s a matter of the heart. We are emotionally connected). I am so happy to see him. He is still there”.
Govinda and Krushna have not been on good terms for the past eight years. Their respective spouses, and Sunita Ahuja have also often engaged in war of words on social media.
Govinda arrived for the wedding along with his son, Yashvardhan. His wife and daughter were not seen at the wedding. The ‘Hero No.1’ actor was seen in a black bandhgala and greeted the paparazzi before heading into the venue. Talking to Instant Bollywood, he said, “Ishvar se praarthana hai, jo kripa Arti par hui hai kisi prakaar ka vastu dosh na lage (I pray for her well-being and may God protect her from bad energies).”
The wedding ceremony took place at Iskcon temple in Mumbai in the presence of close friends and family members. Arti looked breathtakingly stunning in a red lehenga. Talking about the new bride and groom’s outfits, Arti opted for a red-hued heavily embellished lehenga for her big day. She tied up her hair into a bun and accessorized her look with heavy golden-toned jewellery and a red chooda. On the other hand, Dipak was in a white sherwani.
Arti and Dipak also made their first public appearance as newlyweds. They posed for the paparazzi stationed outside the reception venue. The newlywed also posed with Krushna Abhishek and Kashmera Shah. Arti also greeted the paps with folded hands and thanked them for being part of her wedding celebrations. The couple distributed sweets among paps.
