Greater Bay Airlines (GBA) is thrilled to announce a new regular flight route connecting Hong Kong to Yonago, a charming city nestled in Tottori Prefecture, Japan. This exciting development marks the airline’s third Japanese destination, following the successful launch of services to Tokyo and Osaka.
The new flights, commencing on October 27, 2024, will operate three times a week, offering convenient travel options for those seeking to explore the captivating beauty and rich history of Yonago. Located in the western region of Tottori, Yonago is renowned for its stunning natural landscapes, including the majestic Mount Daisen and the breathtaking Tottori Sand Dunes. Travelers can indulge in a restorative hot spring experience at Kaike Onsen, where they can soak in the therapeutic waters while enjoying mesmerizing sunrises over the Sea of Japan.
For a unique cultural experience, a visit to Mizuki Shigeru Road is a must. This vibrant 800-meter-long arcade is adorned with an array of 170 bronze statues, each depicting iconic manga characters created by the renowned artist Shigeru Mizuki. Visitors of all ages will be captivated by the charming one-eyed ghost boy, Kitaro, and other beloved characters that bring the street to life.
