Gruesome Discovery in Bengaluru: Woman’s Body Found Chopped and Stuffed in Refrigerator

A chilling discovery in Bengaluru has sent shockwaves through the city. On Saturday, the Bengaluru Police uncovered the body of a 29-year-old woman, brutally chopped into over 30 pieces and stuffed inside a refrigerator. The horrifying incident unfolded in the Malleswaram area, falling under the jurisdiction of the Vyalikaval police station.

The grisly details emerged after residents in the area alerted authorities about a strong stench emanating from a house. Upon investigation, police found the dismembered body of the woman, identified as Mahalakshmi. Initial investigations suggest that Mahalakshmi was likely murdered a week prior to the discovery.

Speaking to reporters, Additional Commissioner of Police (West Zone) N Satheesh Kumar stated that the body appeared to have been dismembered 4-5 days ago. He confirmed that the woman’s identity had been established and that she was originally from another state but had settled in Karnataka. The police have launched a full-scale investigation into the murder, with promises to release further details as the probe progresses.
