The stage was set in Jaipur on Sunday, September 22, as the nation watched to see who would be crowned Miss Universe India 2024. And the winner is… Rhea Singha! The 19-year-old from Gujarat, a model and aspiring entrepreneur, will now represent India at the prestigious Miss Universe 2024 competition in Mexico.
Singha, a self-proclaimed fitness enthusiast, has already made a name for herself in the modeling world. She also holds the title of Ambassador at Large for GLS University. Her ambition extends beyond the runway, as she is also a TEDx speaker and aspiring entrepreneur.
Following the announcement of her victory, Singha expressed her gratitude and the inspiration she draws from past Miss Universe India winners. “Today I won the title of Miss Universe India 2024. I am so thankful. I have done so much work to get to this level where I can consider myself worthy enough for this crown. I am so inspired by the previous winners,” she told ANI.
The competition was judged by a panel of notable figures, including Bollywood actress and former Miss Universe India (2015) Urvashi Rautela. Rautela, visibly moved by the talent displayed by the contestants, shared her excitement about the upcoming Miss Universe competition. “I feel what all the girls are feeling. The winners are mind-blowing. They will represent our country very well in Miss Universe, and I am hopeful that India will win the Miss Universe crown again this year. All the girls have been hard-working, dedicated, and extremely beautiful,” she expressed on Sunday.
The panel also included Nikhil Anand, Vietnamese star Nguyen Quynh, fashion photographer Rian Fernandes, and entrepreneur Rajeev Shrivastava.
With the crown now securely on her head, Rhea Singha embarks on her journey to represent India on the international stage. All eyes will be on her as she prepares for the Miss Universe 2024 competition, hoping to bring home the crown for India.
