His impressive performance earned him the PFA award in the previous season after City’s historic treble-winning campaign.
Rodri played a pivotal role in City’s midfield during their latest Premier League triumph, demonstrating his importance in controlling the game. He also contributed to Spain’s Euro 2024 success. Meanwhile, England playmaker Foden showcased his talent with 27 goals for Pep Guardiola’s side last season.
The competition for the award is fierce, with several other notable players nominated. Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr is reportedly considering a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia, while Chelsea forward Cole Palmer, Arsenal midfielder Martin Odegaard, and Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins are also in the running.
