Hampton Inn & Suites Coming to Yellowstone Airport Plaza in Montana

ERES is thrilled to announce the development of a new Hampton Inn & Suites at Yellowstone Airport Plaza (YAP) in Belgrade, Montana. This 125-room, select-service hotel is set to become a welcome addition to the area, offering travelers a comfortable and convenient stay.

Construction is slated to begin by the end of 2024, with an expected completion date in the second quarter of 2026. The project is a joint effort between ERES and O’Reilly Hospitality Management, LLC, known for their expertise in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.

The four-story, 72,000-square-foot hotel will boast an array of modern amenities designed to enhance the guest experience. These include an indoor pool with a patio offering breathtaking mountain views, spacious meeting rooms perfect for gatherings and events, a state-of-the-art fitness center to keep guests active, a tempting treat shop, and a large lobby featuring a dedicated co-working lounge for business travelers.

The Hampton Inn brand, consistently recognized as the #1 hotel franchise for 15 consecutive years, is synonymous with top-tier service and exceptional value. This new venture will bring the brand’s commitment to guest satisfaction to the heart of Belgrade, Montana.

Centrally located, the hotel will provide easy access to Bozeman, Big Sky, and Yellowstone National Park, making it an ideal destination for visitors exploring these popular attractions. It will also serve as a convenient base for employees working in the area. This addition marks the second new hotel in proximity to the airport, following the recent opening of the EVEN Hotel by IHG, also managed by O’Reilly Hospitality Management.

“We’re incredibly excited about the continued expansion of the Yellowstone Airport Plaza development and our third project here, a Hampton hotel,” said Mike Elliott, CEO of ERES. “We’re proud to be a part of this vibrant market, delivering top-notch products that meet the needs of travelers and enhance the overall experience at Yellowstone Airport and the greater Belgrade/Bozeman area.”

Tim O’Reilly, CEO of O’Reilly Hospitality Management, shared his enthusiasm, stating, “Our O’Reilly Hospitality team is ready to partner with ERES to develop this beautiful Montana-themed Hampton Inn & Suites, at this incredibly convenient and vibrant intersection. This will be a great addition to the Belgrade and Bozeman communities.”

The Gallatin Valley is experiencing rapid growth, making it one of the fastest-growing regions in Montana. With a current population of approximately 64,000 and an impressive 17% employment increase over the past five years, the area is attracting residents and businesses alike. Tourism is booming, with 1.8 million visitors contributing roughly $500 million to the local economy in 2024. Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) has also witnessed a surge in passenger traffic, reporting 1.6 million passengers this year.

If the Gallatin Valley continues its current growth trajectory, its population could double within the next 25 years. This new Hampton Inn & Suites is poised to play a significant role in accommodating this growth and catering to the increasing demand for quality lodging in the region.
