This achievement makes him the first Indian man to reach the No. 1 spot in this category. Pandya’s rise to the top is a testament to his exceptional performances during the recent T20 World Cup 2024. He displayed his versatility throughout the tournament, contributing significantly with both bat and ball. With the bat, he amassed 144 runs at a remarkable strike rate of 151.57, showcasing his aggressive and impactful batting style. Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi experienced a drop of four positions, moving outside the top five.
