Following Mumbai Indians’ disappointing nine-wicket loss to Rajasthan Royals, captain Hardik Pandya addressed the team’s need for self-improvement.
Pandya acknowledged the mistakes made during the match and emphasized the importance of learning from them. He urged his players to embrace their flaws and work towards rectifying them.
“What we can do is learn from this game and the mistakes which we have made, rectify it and make sure that we don’t make it. Progression is very important. Within the team, individually, we will have to accept our flaws and maybe work on those,” Pandya stated.
The Mumbai captain also highlighted the team’s fielding shortcomings in the game against RR. He accepted that they were not up to the mark and emphasized the need for improvement in this area.
“I don’t think it was our best day in the field as well. Overall, we did not put the right foot on the park and eventually, they outplayed us,” Pandya added.
Despite the setback, Pandya expressed his confidence in the team’s ability to bounce back. He reiterated his belief in his players and emphasized the importance of sticking to their plans and avoiding basic errors.
