Haryana Police Constable Recruitment: 6,000 Vacancies Open, Apply Now!

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has announced a re-advertisement for the recruitment of 6,000 police constable posts, presenting a significant opportunity for aspiring individuals in Haryana. The recruitment drive aims to fill 5,000 vacancies for males and 1,000 vacancies for females.

Interested candidates can apply online through the official portal from June 29th, 2024, to July 8th, 2024, until 11:59 P.M. The official notice states that applications will be accepted from candidates who have qualified the Common Eligibility Test (CET) for Group-C positions.

The selection process will be conducted in multiple stages, starting with the Common Eligibility Test (CET) results. A sufficient number of candidates based on their merit in the CET will be invited for the Physical Measurement Test (PMT). Following the PMT, shortlisted candidates will participate in the Physical Screening Test (PST), both of which are qualifying in nature.

The HSSC will then shortlist qualified candidates equal to four times the number of advertised posts in each category for the Knowledge Test. This written examination, conducted offline using OMR sheets, will be bilingual (English & Hindi). The Knowledge Test will consist of 100 questions, each carrying a weightage of 0.945 marks. All questions will be compulsory, and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.

However, if a candidate does not attempt a question, 0.945 marks per unattempted question will be deducted. Candidates must select one option out of the five given for each question. An extra five minutes will be provided to mark the fifth option if the candidate does not know the answer. The total time allowed for the paper will be 105 minutes, including the additional five minutes.

Aspiring candidates can find the official extension notice and the direct link to apply online through the official HSSC website. This is an excellent opportunity to join the Haryana Police force, and eligible individuals are encouraged to apply before the deadline.
