Hawaiian Airlines Now Offers Starlink Wi-Fi on All Airbus Flights

Hawaiian Airlines has taken to the skies with a new perk for its passengers: high-speed internet powered by SpaceX’s Starlink satellite network. Now, all of the airline’s Airbus A321neo and A330 planes are equipped with Starlink, allowing travelers to stay connected throughout their flights. This means you can catch up on emails, stream your favorite shows, or even play online games while soaring above the clouds.

The best part? This service comes at no extra cost to passengers. While currently limited to Airbus planes, Hawaiian Airlines plans to extend Starlink connectivity to its upcoming Boeing 787 aircraft in the future.

Starlink’s high-speed internet boasts impressive speeds and low latency, making it ideal for seamless online experiences. Passengers can expect download speeds of up to 220 Mbps and a latency of under 99 ms, enabling them to enjoy video calls and online gaming without lag. This is a significant upgrade from traditional in-flight Wi-Fi, which often struggles with slow speeds and spotty connections.

Hawaiian Airlines joins a growing list of airlines partnering with Starlink, including JSX Airlines, Qatar Airways, and Zipair. The service is available on a variety of aircraft types, including Airbus A321 Neo, Bombardier Global 6000, and Embraer ERJ-135, with plans to expand to even more aircraft models, such as Airbus A220, Boeing 737, and Bombardier Global 5000.

This move by Hawaiian Airlines highlights the increasing demand for reliable and fast internet access while flying. Starlink is revolutionizing the in-flight experience, ensuring passengers can stay connected and entertained throughout their journey.
