Hemant Soren Appeals to Supreme Court over Money Laundering Arrest

Former Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren has approached the Supreme Court, seeking an urgent hearing of his petition challenging his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on 31st January on money laundering charges. Senior counsel Kapil Sibal presented the case before justices Sanjiv Khanna and Dipankar Datta, pleading for an immediate hearing due to the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

S Jaishankar Criticises UPA Government’s Response to 26/11 Attacks

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has slammed the former Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government’s handling of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. Quoting the then-National Security Advisor (NSA) M. K.
