Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD) is celebrating its third annual Day of Service with a powerful theme: “Own the Change.” This year, HHRD supporters are coming together on August 23rd to make a tangible impact on the world.
Volunteers across the United States, working alongside partner organizations like YM, APPNA, Medical Bridges, and local mosques, will be actively involved in sorting and packing essential relief items destined for Bangladesh, Gaza, and Jordan. This Day of Service will feature a diverse array of volunteer activities aimed at providing crucial relief and support to vulnerable populations.
Volunteers will participate in assembling care packages, organizing donation drives, and raising awareness about the challenges faced by refugees and other marginalized groups. The event is a testament to HHRD’s dedication to fostering compassion and solidarity.
