Highway 7 Rollover Injures Woman
A single-vehicle rollover on Highway 7 west of Peterborough, Ontario, on Tuesday morning sent a woman to hospital with injuries. Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene around 7:30 a.m. after reports of a crash between Lansdowne Street West and Sherbrooke Street. Upon arrival, they found a vehicle on its roof with one person inside.
Firefighters from Cavan Monaghan Township assisted in extracting the woman from the vehicle. She was assessed by paramedics at the scene and transported to Peterborough Regional Health Centre for further treatment.
The cause of the collision is being investigated by Peterborough County OPP.
