Pregnant actress Hilary Duff has politely asked fans to stop asking when her baby is due. Duff, who is expecting her fourth child with husband Matthew Koma, shared a message on her Instagram Story informing followers that she will no longer respond to such inquiries.
“Hi friends – This is meant in the kindest tone (I promise) I am no longer responding to texts or [dms] about ‘when baby is coming!'”, Duff wrote. “I know everyone is checking in with love and humor, however, trust me nobody wants it more than me!!!!! Babies come when they are ready. I am trying my best to be patient! The days are long and uncomfortable. Promise I will let you know.”
Duff has been sharing her pregnancy journey with fans since December 2023. She and Koma, who have been together since 2017, have two daughters, Mae and Banks, and Duff also has a son, Luca, from a previous relationship.
While Duff has been open about her excitement to welcome their fourth child, she has also expressed her readiness for the baby’s arrival. In a recent Instagram post, she shared a series of photos depicting the family’s “pretty slow week,” including one of her with acupuncture needles in her face and another with the caption, “Gently trying to give baby the eviction notice.”
The singer has also created a birth playlist, sharing it with fans on her Instagram Story. “Made a cute birthing playlist – take a listen!” she wrote. “Not sure about the order yet but I think I’m going to enjoy it. Also manifesting a short birth as I only made it 3 hours.”
The playlist includes a variety of songs by artists such as Zach Bryan, Kacey Musgraves, Sia, Fleetwood Mac, Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Harry Styles, and Aretha Franklin.
Koma, Duff’s husband, recently underwent a vasectomy and documented his experience on Instagram. He emphasized that the procedure was not painful and that he would highly recommend it to others.
