A man in Hillsborough County, Florida, has been arrested for creating computer-generated pornographic images of several victims. Deputies were notified by three victims on March 13th that they had discovered nude images of themselves online. Investigators determined that the suspect, Sammarth Gautam, had obtained the victims’ photos from their social media accounts and used software to remove their clothing from the pictures.
Gautam was arrested on Monday by the Lakeland Police Department and will be extradited to Hillsborough County to face charges. Sheriff Chad Chronister condemned the suspect’s actions, stating that they would not be tolerated in the county. He commended the investigators for their efforts in apprehending the suspect and bringing justice to the victims whose privacy was violated.
