Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino is undergoing a significant $100 million transformation, promising an enhanced guest experience. The centerpiece of the project is a new 161-unit oceanfront tower, slated for completion by fall 2025. This tower, overlooking Palm Beach, will offer a range of room and suite categories, including 18 oceanfront suites. Designed with a mid-century modern aesthetic, it will also feature swim-up pools and an exclusive adults-only rooftop club, creating a luxurious “hotel-within-a-hotel” experience.
The resort’s existing Bonaire and Curacao towers are also receiving updates, with the Bonaire Tower expected to be refreshed by early September and the Curacao Tower by early December. The Aruba Tower has already undergone guestroom and lobby refurbishments.
While construction progresses, the south pool from the bridge to the Curacao Tower, along with cabanas A through J, will be closed. Some rooms with direct access to the construction area will also be unavailable. However, resort general manager Lawrence Tuck assures guests that the property remains fully operational and committed to providing the high level of service and hospitality that Hilton Aruba is known for.
The renovation project isn’t just about physical changes; it also includes the introduction of new dining concepts. The breakfast restaurant, Laguna, has expanded to offer dinner service, and the former Gilligan’s will reopen as Shore Club in mid-2024. In the meantime, the Miramar Garden is serving lunch and beach bites, featuring a food truck, BBQ, a pop-up bar, and pool and beach food and drink service. The outdoor bar and lounge, previously known as Mira Solo, has been redesigned and is now called Sunset Bar. The fine dining restaurant, Sunset Grille, will also debut a new look when it reopens this fall.
With its ongoing renovation, Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino continues to evolve, offering guests an even more luxurious and memorable experience. Guests can stay updated on the renovation progress through the resort’s website. Currently, the resort boasts 358 guestrooms and suites, five dining options, a spa with cold plunge pools and a serene spa garden, and 60,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space.
