Hisense Recognized in Fortune China’s ESG Influential Listing for Third Consecutive Year

Hisense has established 13 National Green Factories in China, and its photovoltaic power generation projects are yielding significant results. These projects generated approximately 70 million kWh of clean energy annually, with 12.85 MW added in 2023, contributing to over 11% of Hisense’s overall electricity consumption.

The company is committed to establishing a comprehensive green and low-carbon production system that encompasses all aspects of energy utilization, from R&D design and supply chain management to manufacturing, sales, and after-sales service, as well as recycling and comprehensive product utilization.

Hisense Laser TVs, for example, have achieved a raw material recycling rate of 92%, while a 100-inch Laser TV consumes less than half the energy of an LCD TV of the same size.

Hisense ULED TVs have also reduced their shell weight by 8% through advanced and environmentally friendly design, resulting in savings of 1,133.07 tons of plastic and 100 tons of steel in 2023 compared to 2022, while also improving resource utilization.

Hisense has a global presence with 26 R&D centers, 34 industrial parks, and 64 overseas companies and offices. The company is establishing a global Supply Chain Management Center and utilizing overseas companies and marketing platforms to optimize its supply chain and logistics, reducing costs and energy consumption.

Hisense also employs local staff, contributes to tax revenue, promotes local economic and social development, and fosters mutually beneficial partnerships through global coordination.
