Alain Sebah, President of Golden Tulip Afrique Francophone & East Africa (GTAF), will receive the Outstanding Contribution Award at the Africa Hospitality Investment Forum (AHIF), set to take place in Namibia this June. Sebah founded GTAF a decade ago and has since opened 11 hotels, with 5 more under construction. He has played a pivotal role in expanding the brand in both French and English-speaking Africa, focusing on management and franchise agreements. His efforts have resulted in exceptional guest experiences, career advancement opportunities for employees, and increased investor confidence.
Dupe Olusola, Managing Director and CEO of Transcorp Hotels Plc, will be presented with the Leadership Award at AHIF. She led the company back to profitability faster than most global hospitality companies, with the share price increasing over 600% in 2023. Under her leadership, the company has expanded its offerings and won over 40 awards. Dupe has also received several personal accolades, including CEO of the Year.
The Africa Hospitality Investment Forum (AHIF) will be held at the Mövenpick Hotel in Windhoek, Namibia, from June 25th to 27th, 2024.
