Hotel Indigo Expands its Portfolio with New Resort Properties

Hotel Indigo, a part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, is set to double its portfolio in the next three to five years, with a strong focus on expanding its presence in diverse locations worldwide. This expansion will see more Hotel Indigo properties becoming available across the globe, furthering their commitment to providing unique and engaging travel experiences. Currently, Hotel Indigo operates 154 hotels in 25 countries, holding the second-largest position in IHG’s Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio, trailing only InterContinental Hotels & Resorts.

In 2024, Hotel Indigo is significantly enhancing its lifestyle offerings by introducing five new resort properties. These resorts will be situated in captivating locations, showcasing the brand’s commitment to immersing guests in the heart of their surroundings. From the breathtaking shores of the Cayman Islands to the majestic peaks of Oman’s mountain ranges, each resort will reflect the distinct character and beauty of its location.

“Each Hotel Indigo is a vibrant reflection of its surrounding landscape, intricately woven with the threads of its local neighborhood,” said Carol Hoeller, Vice President of Global Brand Management for Hotel Indigo and voco Hotels. “Although Hotel Indigo is often associated with urban settings, neighborhoods can be found in every corner of the globe, each with its own story waiting to be discovered, so it only made sense as we strive to set new standards in the ‘premium lifestyle’ space to expand our resorts offerings across the portfolio.”

While the resort segment is not entirely new to Hotel Indigo, with 15 existing resorts across six regions, it remains a critical area for growth. With 34 more resorts under development, the brand is further solidifying its dedication to offering vibrant, local, and personalized guest experiences in unique travel destinations.
