House of iKons Fashion Week London celebrated its 10th anniversary in style, showcasing a runway that embodied a contemporary interpretation of regality. Held at the prestigious Leonardo Royal Tower Bridge Hotel, the event brought together a diverse array of creative talents from around the globe.
The centerpiece of the celebration was the Diamond Collection – World Masquerade, the third mainline ensemble from fashion show sponsor, Tykorchélli. The brand, known for its philosophy of “making a statement” through each collection, utilized delicate materials like 22-carat gold and sterling silver threads, alongside precious stones including diamonds and rubies. The result was a breathtaking display of intricate craftsmanship.
The runway opened with womenswear inspired by ancient Greece, flowing seamlessly into the Renaissance period with free-flowing chitons adorned with Japanese cherry blossoms and blackwork embroidered basquines and two-piece dresses. The looks then transitioned to men’s and women’s wear, incorporating the richness of Indian culture. Precious metal threads and stones were meticulously woven into the designs, creating a unique interpretation of traditional sherwanis, abhayas, and saris by the Atlanta-born atelier.
As the show concluded, Tykorchélli revisited modern design while maintaining its signature use of goldwork embroidery. Skirts adorned with long trains and contouring dresses with exaggerated sleeves or flowing scarves completed the stunning collection.
