To use this feature, you’ll need a standard Nest Thermostat, as it’s not available on the Nest Thermostat E or Nest Learning Thermostat.
To enable the temperature hold, follow these steps:

From the thermostat’s menu, select ‘Hold’.2.
Choose Your Hold Type:
Select either ‘Current Temp’ to maintain the current temperature or ‘Eco’ for a more energy-efficient option. When using ‘Eco’, you can also choose ‘None’ to hold the temperature indefinitely.3.
Set the Hold Duration:
If you’ve chosen ‘Current Temp’ or ‘Eco’, you can select the desired duration for the temperature hold.4.
Confirm Your Settings:
Press ‘Confirm’ to lock in your chosen temperature hold settings.5.

You can also set a temperature hold using the Home app. Navigate to your Nest Thermostat, and follow the same steps as above.To end the temperature hold and return to your scheduled heating and cooling, follow these simple steps:

End the Hold:
Select ‘Stop’ to immediately end the temperature hold.3.
