The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has announced the results for the Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (HP TET) June 2024 exam. Candidates who took the exam can now access their results and scorecards on the official HPBOSE website, hpbose.org.
A total of 41,675 candidates registered for the HP TET 2024 exam, with 37,826 ultimately sitting for the test. However, the pass rate was only 12.9%, with just 4,882 candidates achieving success. This means that 32,944 candidates were unsuccessful in their attempt to qualify for teaching positions in Himachal Pradesh.
The HP TET is a mandatory requirement for aspiring teachers who wish to teach at the elementary level (Classes 1 to 5) in Himachal Pradesh. The exam assesses candidates’ teaching competency and subject knowledge, ensuring that those who qualify have the necessary skills and understanding to effectively educate young learners.
To pass the HP TET, candidates from the General Category need to achieve a minimum score of 60% (90 marks), while candidates belonging to OBC, SC, ST, and PH categories need a minimum score of 55% (82 marks).
Due to the high volume of candidates accessing the HPBOSE website to check their results, the site may experience some delays. It is recommended to be patient while accessing the website and downloading your scorecard.
