HRH Princess Rajwa Al Hussein, the Crown Princess of Jordan, has made her first public appearance since announcing her pregnancy. The princess, who is expecting her first child with Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, was spotted in a relaxed and stylish maternity outfit.
Princess Rajwa opted for a soft blue denim maternity jumpsuit from the Tencel Denim Maternity range by British brand Seraphine. The comfortable number featured long sleeves, black buttons down the front, and a tie detail at the waist. She paired the jumpsuit with rolled-up cuffs, white sneakers, and a mini Bottega Veneta tote bag.
The expectant mother recently celebrated her milestone 30th birthday and received an outpouring of well wishes and congratulatory messages from around the world. The Royal Hashemite Court marked the special day by releasing two official portraits of the expecting mother, with one of them featuring her wearing a tiara.
Crown Prince Hussein took to Instagram to share a never-before-seen candid picture of the princess, which saw her in a bold red look and statement Schiaparelli earrings. “May God continue to bless and nurture the bond between us. Happy Birthday Rajwa,” he captioned the photo.
The couple tied the knot in June 2023, in what was the biggest royal wedding of the year, attended by officials and other royal families from around the world. The prince and princess are next line for the Jordanian throne, after Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania.
On April 10, the Royal Hashemite Court announced that Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa are expected to welcome their first child together in the summer of this year. “The Royal Hashemite Court is pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince, and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein, are expecting, with God’s help and grace, their first child, in the summer of this year,” read the statement.
