Korhan Berzeg, a British man living in Turkey, went missing in June 2022 while walking his dog. Despite extensive searches by police, no trace of him could be found. Recently, however, human remains and Berzeg’s wallet were discovered near where he vanished, about three miles from the starting point of his walk. DNA testing is currently being conducted on the remains, and Berzeg’s daughter, Nisa, has flown from London to Turkey to be with her mother and assist with the identification process.
Nisa stated that while the news is not positive, it provides some closure for the family. She expressed gratitude for the support they have received from the Turkish authorities and the local community. The discovery of Berzeg’s personal effects has brought a sense of relief and may provide answers about his disappearance.
