Hunter Biden Proposed Meeting Between Joe Biden and Chinese Energy Executive, House Committee Reveals

Newly released messages from the House Ways and Means Committee reveal that Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, proposed a meeting between his father, his uncle Jim Biden, and the CEO of a Chinese energy company in December 2017.

The messages, which were obtained by Fox News, show Hunter Biden asking the CEO, Yadong Liu, to meet in New York City so that his father could attend a Sandy Hook memorial service. Hunter Biden also expressed interest in having his father meet with the CEO and his uncle to discuss potential business projects.

Less than two weeks after the proposed meeting, Hunter Biden reached out to Liu again, saying that he was “anxiously waiting” for a report from a meeting in China. Liu responded by saying that he had not yet met with the chairman of the Chinese energy company but that he would be returning to the United States the following week and could meet with Hunter Biden then.

A former Hunter Biden business associate told Fox News that the exchange between Hunter Biden and Liu is an example of the Biden family’s “nonsense and lies.” The associate added that the Bidens have a history of “blatantly lying to the American public.”

The House Ways and Means Committee’s findings contradict President Biden’s previous claims that he had no knowledge of his son’s foreign business dealings. The committee’s report, which was released earlier this year, claims that Joe Biden met with nearly every foreign business associate who paid the Biden family millions of dollars.

The White House did not respond to a request for comment on the newly released messages.

In addition to the messages between Hunter Biden and Liu, the House Ways and Means Committee also released a photo of Liu’s business card. The committee’s findings are based on a review of documents and interviews with witnesses. The committee’s investigation is ongoing.
