Hyderabad YouTuber Sparks Outrage for Throwing Money in Traffic

A YouTuber from Hyderabad, known as Power Harsha or Mahadev, has found himself at the center of a controversy after videos of him throwing wads of cash into moving traffic in the city’s Kukatpally area went viral. The videos show Harsha, standing on top of a bike, tossing money into the air, causing traffic to come to a standstill as people scramble for the scattered cash.

The stunt has drawn widespread criticism on social media, with users expressing concern over the potential for accidents and highlighting the irresponsible nature of Harsha’s actions. Many have called for legal action against the YouTuber, arguing that his antics could inspire others to engage in similar reckless behavior.

One X user commented, “Arrest them immediately,” while another demanded, “All his accounts should be scrutinised and check if he’s paying his taxes too.” Others echoed the sentiment, urging authorities to take action to prevent similar incidents in the future. “Please take strict action so that others don’t even think of doing something like this,” wrote one user.

Harsha, who goes by the username ‘its_me_power’ online, has defended his actions, stating that they were intended to garner attention on social media. In one of the videos, he encourages viewers to join his Telegram channel, promising rewards and gifts to those who can correctly guess the amount of cash thrown.

“All you need to do is join my Telegram channel. The link is in my bio. Many of you know that I have earned a lot of money. You can earn too. Meet me on the Telegram channel,” he said.

Despite the public outcry, the Hyderabad Police have yet to take action against the YouTuber. The Cyberabad police have been urged by social media users to investigate the matter and take appropriate action against Harsha. The incident has raised serious concerns about the influence of social media and the need for responsible content creation.
