Get ready, Canada! The legendary Volkswagen Bus is back, and this time it’s electric. To celebrate the arrival of the highly anticipated ID. Buzz, Volkswagen Canada is hosting a once-in-a-lifetime virtual auction, giving Canadians the chance to be among the first to own this iconic vehicle.
The all-new ID. Buzz is turning heads with its retro-inspired design, modern features, cutting-edge technology, and electric drivetrain. This isn’t just any vehicle; it embodies the spirit of adventure and freedom that has defined the VW Bus for generations.
“Volkswagen isn’t just about cars, it’s about the unforgettable experiences and memories to be had behind the wheel,” says Edgar Estrada, President of Volkswagen Canada. “Whether it’s a cross-country road trip, the nostalgia of a classic Bus, or connecting with fellow VW enthusiasts, these stories are woven into the fabric of our brand. The ID. Buzz is ready to write the next chapter with our community – with an all-electric twist.”
To celebrate the launch and give back to the community, Volkswagen is auctioning off one of the first ID. Buzz vehicles to benefit Campfire Circle, a Canadian charity bringing joy and the spirit of camp to children with cancer and their families.
The auction kicks off with a camp-inspired event on October 30th at 8:30 pm ET in Toronto and will be available online nationwide. VW bus fanatics can bid on this legendary ride while supporting a worthy cause.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Volkswagen Canada for the launch of this unforgettable vehicle,” says Campfire Circle’s CEO, Alex Robertson. “We’re incredibly grateful for Volkswagen’s commitment to our organization, and we look forward to this opportunity to help children and families affected by cancer.”
