From June 1 to September 2, guests at InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, Vignette Collection, and Hotel Indigo properties will be whisked away to enchanting summer getaways, reminiscent of warm, sunny days and long, balmy nights.
This extraordinary series will feature multi-sensory elements, opulent decor boasting hyperreal botanicals and lush greenery, a specially curated IHG Summer Soiree playlist, and expertly crafted culinary and cocktail menus. In collaboration with the renowned Barcelona-based atelier Wanda Barcelona, IHG is introducing uniquely designed floral pop-ups at six select hotels across North America. These extraordinary, larger-than-life installations will evoke the charm of a garden, offering bookable experiences for guests. The floral structures will encompass an interactive and welcoming lobby bar, featuring lush greenery, botanical cocktails, zero-proof elixirs, and dishes highlighting fresh seasonal ingredients crafted by in-house chefs and bartenders, providing a relaxing and indulgent experience for guests.
For those seeking to gather in larger groups, the Summer Soiree will come to life at Kimpton Hotel Palomar Philadelphia and InterContinental San Francisco. These locations will feature furnishings and floral decor inspired by Wanda Barcelona, bringing the essence of summer into the hotels’ meetings and event spaces. Guests will enjoy vinyl listening stations, interactive art, and pop-up beverage carts, while curated catering menus enhance the gathering spaces, ensuring a truly unforgettable event.
Club InterContinental lounges will be transformed with lush botanical elements, creating an elegant and sophisticated summer ambiance. Guests can enjoy live music in the evenings, vinyl listening stations, and Lo-Fi High Tea, providing immersive experiences filled with the sounds and tastes of summer.
InterContinental New York Barclay offers an “In-Room Summer Camp-Out” for families traveling with children, complete with a campfire playset and a kid’s s’mores amenity, bringing the outdoor adventure inside. Similarly, InterContinental New York Times Square features a kid-sized pop-up tent and summer-themed activities.
InterContinental San Diego collaborates with retailer LoveShackFancy to create an outdoor summer pop-up at their rooftop bar, Layover. Guests can enjoy seasonally themed menu items while browsing the fashion collection.
InterContinental Toronto Centre welcomes guests into a sunlit setting adorned with summer-inspired décor and refreshing beverages. The hotel will also host a HAKADA Beauty pop-up in the lobby, adding to the summer experience.
IHG One Rewards Diamond Elite members will receive special in-room amenities and perks, including Summer Soiree-inspired snacks and beverages, in-room botanical decorations, and elevated summer turndown services featuring soothing skincare and luxury hydration options.
Kimpton Off the Record, the cherished intimate concert series, will be revived this summer, sponsored by Coca-Cola. Kimpton EPIC Hotel in Miami will host the official kickoff event on June 12, featuring DRAMA and benefiting Kimpton’s nonprofit partner, National Urban League. Guests can follow Kimpton’s social media channels for ticket updates. Additional Off the Record events will be held at select Kimpton hotels later this year.
Summer will come alive through seasonal food and beverage menus, inspired by Kimpton’s 2024 Culinary & Cocktail Trend Report, available in Kimpton restaurants and bars. Kimpton Everly Hotel, Kimpton Palladian Hotel, and Kimpton Pittman Hotel will offer a “Spill the Tea” high tea menu, ideal for a summer party, through June 30.

Hotel Indigo’s menus will draw inspiration from nature this summer, featuring dishes and beverages infused with seasonal herbs, flowers, and fruits. Guests can enjoy a curated white wine cheese board with in-season stone fruits and vibrant herbaceous cocktails at participating locations.
Participating Hotel Indigo properties will offer a complimentary postcard station, allowing guests to send pre-stamped bespoke cards to loved ones, shortening the distance and sharing summer memories.
Hotel Indigo Cleveland Downtown will host music and entertainment in the property’s courtyard, perfect for those long summer evenings.
Select Hotel Indigo properties will host special doggy meet-ups, tailored for furry companions, featuring pup cups, pet artists, and photo booths. Hotel Indigo Columbus Architectural Center will also offer a monthly “Canines and Cocktails” event where guests can bring their pets and enjoy live music, hosted by the property’s “Furry Ambassador” Tripp.
Yours Truly DC’s Mercy Me restaurant will unveil the “Tropicalia Cocktail Garden” on the patio, an immersive pop-up space filled with lush tropical plants and offering a fusion of cocktails and dishes that celebrate signature summer flavors and South American influences. The Tropicalia Cocktail Garden will come alive with live performances from local analog DJs on Friday and Saturday nights, and special chef collaborations on Sunday evenings.
