The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) have announced the results for the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2024 on June 25. Aspirants who took the exam can now check and download their scorecards from the official IISER website, iiseradmission.in. To access the results, candidates need to log in using their registration number and date of birth.
Following the result announcement, the registration process for counselling will begin on June 25 and conclude on July 1. During this period, candidates are required to upload their updated Class 12 marksheet and caste certificate. IISER is scheduled to release the first round of admission offers on July 7.
The IISER Aptitude Test was conducted on June 9 in computer-based test mode across various centers in India. The exam lasted 180 minutes and consisted of 60 questions divided equally among four subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics, with 15 questions in each subject. Each question was multiple-choice, with only one correct answer.
The official notification clarifies that the total marks obtained by a candidate out of 240 will be considered for preparing the Rank List. It’s important to note that not every candidate who appeared in the IAT 2024 will be awarded a rank. The rank cut-off will be announced at a later stage. Additionally, securing a rank does not guarantee admission to an IISER.
The IAT serves as a screening examination for admission to the five-year BS-MS (Dual Degree) and four-year BS degree programs at seven IISERs: IISER Berhampur, IISER Bhopal, IISER Kolkata, IISER Mohali, IISER Pune, IISER Thiruvananthapuram, and IISER Tirupati.
