Key Changes Effective from June 1st

LPG Cylinder Prices:

Oil companies will announce LPG cylinder price revisions on June 1st, a regular monthly practice. May witnessed a reduction in cylinder prices, and there’s a possibility of further reductions for commercial cylinders in June.

New Driving License Rules:

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has introduced new driving license rules effective from June 1st. Individuals can now take driving tests at private training centers authorized by the government, eliminating the mandatory testing requirement at government RTOs.

Aadhaar Card Update:

Aadhaar cardholders have until June 14th to update their information online. Offline updates are also available for a fee of INR 50 per update.

Bank Holidays:

According to the Reserve Bank of India’s holiday calendar, banks will remain closed for 10 days in June, including Sundays, second and fourth Saturdays, as well as holidays like Raja Sankranti and Eid-ul-Adha.
