Get ready for a wet week in India as the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a range of weather alerts across the country. The most pressing alert is an orange alert for East Rajasthan, where isolated very heavy rainfall is expected on August 14th.
Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) are also poised for a rainy week, with the IMD predicting scattered to fairly widespread rainfall. – Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada are poised for scattered heavy rainfall throughout the week.
East & Northeast India:
– East India is anticipated to see fairly widespread to widespread light or moderate rainfall.
– Northeast India is predicted to receive scattered to fairly widespread rainfall throughout the week.
South Peninsular India:
– Kerala & Mahe, Lakshadweep, and South Interior Karnataka are likely to have fairly widespread to widespread light or moderate rainfall.
– Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Rayalaseema, Telangana, and Coastal and North Interior Karnataka are expected to receive isolated very heavy rainfall throughout the week.
