The Indian team, despite putting up a valiant effort, ultimately lost 44-43 after hitting 43 out of 48 targets. China’s victory was secured by their impressive performance, with Lyu Jianlin achieving a perfect score of 24 out of 24 shots. While his partner Jiang Yiting missed three shots in the second series, she recovered to miss only one in the remaining 24 shots. For India, Anantjeet missed two targets, while Maheshwari missed three. The tight contest highlighted the competitiveness of the event, which saw a mixed team format being introduced for the first time in skeet shooting.
