India has made two changes to their squad for the third and final ODI against South Africa in Bengaluru. Shreyanka Patil and Priya Punia have been included in the team, replacing Uma Chetri and Dayalan Hemlatha respectively. This comes after a thrilling second ODI where India secured a 4-run win over the Proteas, sealing the series. The match was a nail-biter, featuring four centuries, two from India’s Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur, and two from South Africa’s Marizanne Kapp and Laura Wolvaardt. Ultimately, it was Pooja Vastrakar’s brilliant last over that clinched the victory for India.
The Indian team will be hoping to carry their winning momentum into the third ODI before they travel to Chennai for a one-off Test match and three T20Is.
