Maharashtra, the state where Tata was admitted to the Candy Breach Hospital in Mumbai, will be observing the day with flags at half-mast on government offices. The state government has also announced the cancellation of all entertainment events as a mark of respect.

The public will have the opportunity to pay their last respects to Ratan Tata at the National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA) in south Mumbai. His mortal remains will be kept there from 10 am to 4 pm, allowing people to bid farewell to the man who made a lasting impact on India’s industrial landscape.
