India is poised to significantly bolster its naval prowess with the impending acquisition of 26 Rafale Marine fighter jets. This major defense deal, expected to be signed next year, was announced by Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi during the annual Navy Day press conference on December 2nd. Admiral Tripathi confirmed that negotiations are in an advanced stage, just one step away from final approval by the Cabinet Committee on Security.
