With the unwavering support of the Asian Handball Federation (AHF), the South Asian Handball Federation (SAHF), and the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports (MYAS), India is set to welcome a constellation of handball powerhouses. Alongside the home team, the competition will feature continental heavyweights like Iran, South Korea, China, Japan, Kazakhstan, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
The action will unfold at the iconic Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, where close to 200 players will battle for continental supremacy. The stakes are high, as the championship serves as a crucial qualifier for the 2025 IHF World Women’s Handball Championship in Germany and the Netherlands. Four top teams will secure direct qualification, making this tournament an intense battle for global recognition.
Originally planned for Almaty, Kazakhstan, unforeseen circumstances led to the relocation of the championship to India, presenting a golden opportunity for the nation to showcase its growing passion for handball.
