India vs Bangladesh T20I Moved to Gwalior, England Series Venues Swapped

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a revised schedule for the upcoming home season, including changes to the India vs Bangladesh and India vs England T20I series.

The first T20I between India and Bangladesh, initially slated for October 6th in Dharamsala, has been shifted to Gwalior. The change is due to ongoing renovations and upgrades to the dressing rooms at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) stadium in Dharamsala. The match in Gwalior will take place at the Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium, marking the city’s first international match since the historic India vs South Africa ODI in 2010, where Sachin Tendulkar scored a double century.

Further adjustments have been made to the India vs England T20I series in January 2025. The first T20I, originally scheduled for Chennai on January 22nd, will now be played in Kolkata. The second T20I, previously slated for Kolkata, will now be hosted in Chennai on January 25th. The BCCI attributed this change to a request from Kolkata Police concerning prior Republic Day commitments and obligations.
