Indian Athletes Set to Shine on Day Nine of the Paris Paralympics

The Paris Paralympics, the 17th edition of the Summer Paralympics, is in full swing, and the excitement continues on day nine! Indian athletes will be taking center stage across multiple disciplines, showcasing their incredible talent and determination.

Get ready to witness some thrilling events on September 6th, starting with para canoe. Yash Kumar will compete in the Men’s Kayak Single 200m KL1 Heats, while Prachi Yadav will participate in the Women’s Va’a Single 200m VL2 Heats.

The track will also be alive with action as Simran competes in the Women’s 200m T12 Round 1, and Pooja Ojha in the Women’s Kayak Single 200m KL1 Heats.

The day also features several finals. Dipesh Kumar will battle for a medal in the Men’s Javelin Throw F54, while Praveen Kumar aims for the podium in the Men’s High Jump T64.

In the field events, Dilip Mahadu Gavit will participate in the Men’s 400m T47 Round 1, and Bhavanaben Ajabaji Chaudhary will compete in the Women’s Javelin Throw F46 Final.

Para powerlifting will see Kasthuri Rajamani taking on the Women’s up to 67kg Final.

Rounding out the day, Soman Rana and Hokato Hotozhe Sema will battle it out in the Men’s Shot Put F57 Final.
